Don’t Let Distractions Ruin Your Images
Distractions can ruin what would otherwise be a great photo, and they can sneak up on you more easily than you might expect. This interesting video discusses the issues of distractions in landscape photos and what we can do about them.
Coming to you from Alister Benn with Expressive Photography, this excellent video discusses the issue of distractions in landscape photography. Almost all of us have come home, excited that we got an awesome shot, only to be disappointed when we pull the photo up on our monitor and are surprised by a distraction we somehow did not even notice when we took the photo. One thing that I have found helps me a lot is to make actively checking for distractions my last action before clicking the shutter. For some reason, it is easy to miss them when you are composing a photo, and separating the two actions can make a huge difference. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Benn.
