Looking for Something to Photograph? Try the Flowers in Your Yard
The lockdown has left a lot of us itching for something to shoot as we are unable to travel or meet with clients. If you are one of those people, you should consider the world waiting to be unlocked by simply photographing the flowers around your yard. This great video discusses the joy of the process and the great images you can create.
Coming to you from Adam Gibbs, this excellent video follows him as he photographs some budding spring flowers. A lot of us are stuck at home right now, and if you are anything like me, you might be feeling a bit creatively frustrated. However, even though certain types of photography are on hold right now, there are still opportunities to be had, and one of the most enjoyable, meditative, and easily accessible subjects are flowers. You do not need much equipment either: your camera and lens (preferably macro), a tripod, and perhaps something to diffuse light if the sun is particularly strong that day. Check out the video above for more from Gibbs.
